Client Responsibilities

Maintain proper pool water level
We provide lawn maintenance, turf control programs, irrigation maintenance and repairs, shrub trimming, flowerbed weed control, aeration, and seasonal leaf removal.
Provide access
Ensure our team has easy access each week, including access to gated communities, security codes, entrance gates, etc. Issues or failure to provide access may result in a re-visit fee.
Safety guidelines
Ensure gates, fences, and nets are in proper working order. Baby nets must be removed before the service visit. CK Pools is not responsible for maintaining property fences, gates, or baby nets.
Landscape maintenance
Keep landscaping trimmed around the pool and filtration pump area to allow our technicians safe and easy access.
Clutter free patio
Remove any furniture, large items, or clutter that may prevent us from servicing your pool. Our technicians are not responsible for moving these items.
Remove pool covers, toys, and rafts
Ensure pool covers, toys, and rafts are removed before your scheduled service day.
Posses basic pool tools
We recommend having a pool pole, net, and brush handy for off-schedule cleanings or debris removal between our visits.
Addtional Services not included in services packages
  • Heavy-duty cleanups due to severe weather, vandalism, excessive debris, etc.
  • Specialty chemicals (stain removal, enzyme treatments, metal removers).
  • Super shock treatments, algaecide, chemical re-balance (due to excessive bather load, leaks, animals in the pool, weather events, etc.).
  • Service calls for diagnosis of filtration, electrical systems, or other components.
  • Parts and labor for any repairs beyond regular maintenance.
  • Heavy-duty cleaning of sand and cartridge filters
Service package rates
Monthly rates are based on a standard pool size of 15' x 37' with basic features. Additional features such as pool/spa combos, larger dimensions, or advanced features may alter the monthly rates. All new pools and client signups are subject to an inspection. Any startup fee for correcting water chemistry or addressing equipment issues will be discussed before starting services.
Severe weather and holidays
During severe storms, our technicians will make every attempt to add chemicals even if full service cannot be performed. We will not return the following day for additional service. No credits will be issued for missed service due to severe weather or holidays. During holidays, we will make every effort to reschedule the service either before or after the holiday.
Instant Part/Repairs
To maintain proper function, clients pre-authorize the replacement of small parts (up to $75) as needed for routine maintenance and safety. Clients will be notified of any action taken. For parts or repairs exceeding this amount, client approval will be required before proceeding.
Vacations
CK Pools follows a 48-week billing cycle out of a 52-week calendar year. Four extra weeks throughout the year serve as vacation weeks for our team, two of which occur during the Christmas holiday and Spring Break. Clients will be notified in advance of vacation weeks.
Payment Terms
CK Pools requires all clients to maintain a valid credit card on file for billing. Payments are due on the 1st of each month, and checks must be received by the 25th to avoid a $10 late fee. Any unpaid balances after two consecutive months may result in suspension or cancellation of service. Returned checks will incur a $25 fee.
Cancellation Terms
A 30 days notice must be provided by either party to cancel the Service Agreement. All unpaid invoices must be settled before cancellation. CK Pools reserves the right to process payment for outstanding balances before ending the service.
